I provide a systemic approach to therapy that meets you where you are. My services focus on fostering secure attachments and supporting families through the transformative journey of early childhood and parenthood.
To ensure therapy fits seamlessly into your life, I offer sessions in the following formats:
In-Office at LEAP Behavioral Health: Located in Farmington, providing a dedicated and professional space for reflection and growth.
Virtual (Telehealth): High-quality, secure video sessions for clients throughout Connecticut. This is often an ideal option for busy parents and those navigating the postpartum period.
My general availability is Sunday through Wednesday, with evening options. Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays are in the office in Farmington, while Wednesdays are virtual. Offering both weekend and evening time-slots means therapy is more likely to fit into your busy schedule without adding extra stress.
I offer individual sessions for young children to process emotions through their natural language: play. These services mostly follow the Child-Centered Play Therapy model, a seminal play therapy type, which recognizes the innate strengths that each child holds. Children who engage in CCPT benefit from outcomes such as increased emotional regulation and higher self-esteem. CCPT is my default approach for those ages 12 and under, and parents/caregivers are asked to commit to meetings approximately every 3-5 weeks to discuss growth and challenges.
Healthy families are built on secure foundations. I specialize in working with families with young children to navigate early developmental milestones, shifting roles, and the complexities of the parent-child bond. Together, we work to foster a nurturing environment where every member feels heard and connected.
One of the ways we might approach family therapy is through Child Parent Relationship Therapy, which is adapted from Child-Centered Play Therapy and empowers parents to learn therapeutic skills to better carry therapy from the office to everyday life.
The transition to parenthood can put a unique strain on even the strongest partnerships. I help couples move through this life-altering shift by improving communication, aligning on parenting approaches, and deepening intimacy. We focus on building a resilient team to lead your family.
I provide a dedicated space for individuals navigating the identity shifts of parenthood and other major life transitions. Using an attachment-based and trauma-informed lens, we work to understand your history, break old patterns, and help you show up more fully for yourself and your loved ones.
